Brilliant chartreuse-yellow, needle-like foliage forms a quick groundcover. Adds cheery color to containers, dry slopes and flowering borders, as well as being a good bulb cover. In winter, foliage turns orange in northern climates. Perennial. Full Sun, Partial Shade Blooms Mid Summer – Early Fall Zone 3-11 This well-behaved Stonecrop species is an excellent edging or rock garden plant, particularly for hot, dry sites with poor soil. This variety forms a low spreading mound of chartreuse green spikes , succulent, needle-like leaves that change to dazzling cinnamon with the onset of cooler temperatures in fall. Gorgeous year round. Reliable if provided with adequate drainage. Also well-suited for growing in tubs and alpine trough gardens. A good candidate for any collection of fine alpine plants.
