EnduraScape™ Verbena, Hot Pink in a 4 inch pot

EnduraScape™ Verbena, Hot Pink in a 4 inch pot

EnduraScape™ verbena beats all other varieties for verbena for summer performance, taking the heat better and flowering longer. This is a hot pink selection from the first reblooming verbena that’s known to be hardy into the low teens. It has lasting color, dense branching, and a noteworthy resistance to powdery mildew. This is an herbaceous perennial in mild winter regions, but should be treated as an annual elsewhere. This verbena is easily grown in average, well-drained soil and blooms best in hot weather. It should be watered deeply and regularly during first growing season to establish extensive root system. Once established, you can reduce the watering frequency as the plant can tolerate moderate drought. Occasional watering should suffice, though it may require more in extreme heat conditions. It should be fertilized regularly during bloom season, which typically ranges from late spring through summer. Cut back in mid-to-late summer to allow a new flush of flowers into fall.
